Fixed games prediction Toto Wolff about the investigation into his wife: All team leaders except Horner were ready to sign a document in support of Susie

Wolff spoke about one of the stages of the conflict with Horner.
The executive director of Mercedes and the head of Red Bull are believed to have disliked each other for quite some time.
According to Wolff, what hurt him most was Horner`s behavior in the story related to the Austrian`s wife.
Susie Wolff was appointed head of the women`s F1 Academy series some time ago. However, last year the FIA launched an investigation into possible conflicts of interest and the risk of sharing confidential information. Because Susie was a representative of the Formula 1 structure, and her husband was the leader and co-owner of one of the teams.
As a result, the investigation was not given any progress, since all 10 Formula 1 teams sent a collective letter to the FIA, in which they stated that they had no complaints or objections to such an appointment.
However, as Wolff said, initially only 9 out of 10 leaders were ready to sign the document - and the only one who opposed it was Christian Horner.
I can take a lot of crap. I`m used to such things. But if your wife begins to be dragged into the conflict - despite the fact that she has nothing to do with it at all, and her reputation is impeccable - then the fun ends.
But the reaction (from the people in Formula 1) was great. I didn`t have to call anyone at all. Fred [Wasser] took matters into his own hands and said: This is not fair.
And everyone responded - from Gunther Steiner (former director of Haas) to James Vowles (supervisor of Williams). They were all ready to sign a document in support of Susie and me. Everyone except Christian Horner.
My understanding of the situation is that he then said: I`m going to have my own interview on Sky Sports in which I`m going to say I won`t be involved. And I will not sign this document.
Representatives of the ten remaining teams responded to this: Well, great. But in the end Horner was apparently advised to change his mind because it wouldn`t look good and that he too needed to get involved and support the overall statement.
At the same time, in the second iteration of the document, he tried to insert the word official into it. He wanted a footnote in the document to say that none of the F1 team directors had complained to the FIA. As a result, the bosses of other teams said: Okay, then we will make our statement, and then you make yours. Horner eventually signed the paper.
I don`t think his words should be believed. I think Susie suffered from collateral damage in this whole situation. And a lot of this was done out of disrespect for her achievements as a racer, and as a person who did a lot to change the situation.
Horner also tried to hurt me by disrespecting my wife and belittling the painful journey she went through to achieve all that she has accomplished both on and off the track, " Wolff said.
Who owns and how much are F1 teams worth? Middle peasants - $1 billion, Williams now - no less than 750 million
